About me
From a very young age, I knew that books were my passion. That is why I studied for a Humanities degree at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and decided to pursue a Master's degree in Publishing at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
During this time, I had my first direct experience of working in the publishing industry as an editorial assistant intern at Grupo Planeta, specifically at the GeoPlaneta imprint, a Lonely Planet partner. Working with the editorial team, I organised translations, managed schedules and completed editorial files. I also had the great opportunity participate in the entire process of producing Lonely Planet travel guides, improving my skills in proofreading and content development. I also have experience working as a bookseller: I worked at Altaïr, one of my favourite bookshops in Barcelona.
Thanks to this, I started my career as a publisher reader in November 2023. My role involved reading in Catalan, Spanish, English, or Italian and writing reading reports for different publishing houses. This helps publishers and agencies to make decision about whether a book has potential for publication or if it needs further refinement. This role allowed me to gain experience in the publishing sector and, of course, insight into publishing trends and market demands. I also can offer proofreading and editorial consultancy services.
My career in publishing took another turn when I started my professional career as a literary agent at MB Agencia Literaria, where my knowledge of the publishing industry has grown, learning more about author negotiations and honing my editorial skills.
I decided to move to the United Kingdom, where I have worked as a freelance publisher’s reader at London Scouting Literary. I then had the privilege of continuing my career as a literary agent, working with Pérez Literary & Entertainment since November 2025.
To get to know me a little better...
As a passionate and voracious reader and enjoy all literary genres. You will always find me carrying a book in my bag. I read everything from adult literary fiction to essays and young adult novels. However, my essentials are The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Call Me by Your Name by André Aciman and The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.
